Lia was the head ardent at the Kharbranth button museum and factory until Nucko and Theren burned it down. While Nucko was disguised as Jarro the two of them bonded over their love of buttons and Lia even tried to seduce Nucko to bed her on a bed of buttons. Nucko ended up running away, but Lia’s feelings for Jarro remained.
After the museum burned down, Lia went to the Glyphpool to drink her feelings away and ended up running into the real Jarro, where the two consummated their relationship. Lia was in person at the battle of the Palanaeum, and barely survived the ordeal - She was in the area when Yelig-Nar turned the air into fire.
Since the battle of the Palanaeum, she’s been in the hospital recovering, and Jarro has been regularly visiting her and comforting her during her recovery.
