The man who spent Kael’s circus years abusing him, which alone earns him a permanent spot on this wiki’s list of people it is rooting against. He resurfaced caged — tidy bit of poetic set dressing — courtesy of Elias, who then handed Kael exactly the kind of choice this wiki loves to hate: free Tan, honoring the Second Ideal he’d only just sworn, or save his mother. Not both. What Kael actually chose, and what became of Tan afterward, isn’t in the record this wiki has access to.
