Status: Not seen recently. Which, given how this campaign works, means absolutely nothing. Role: Azish Vizier, professional intimidator, apparent button connoisseur against his will.
Overview
Nale showed up early, asked exactly the right unsettling questions, and left the entire party rattled in a way that few NPCs since have managed without a Shardblade involved. He interrogated the group cold and precise, wanted to know if Ravan had noticed “any odd spren following you around” (deeply, correctly suspicious), and informed Kael — to his face — that he’d kill him for his past wrongdoings if he only had the legal jurisdiction to do it. Even Leif, a tavernkeeper who has presumably seen some things, pulled Ravan aside afterward just to warn him that Nale is dangerous and has been quietly accumulating authority for a very long time. Naturally, Nucko’s response to all of this menace was to try to pickpocket one of Nale’s buttons mid-interrogation. Nale caught his wrist, dealt actual damage, and delivered a warning that he would kill him if he tried it again. This did not deter Nucko even slightly, as a pattern of behavior across this entire wiki will confirm.
Deputized the party on the spot — hunt down the Envisagers, get paid in wealth and power — and handed over a map narrowing the search to Duma Dari, Kharbranth, or Yulay.
