Dblar was a sailor on Captain Sebarial’s ship. He isn’t the brightest or strongest, but he actually has a talent for gambling and games of chance. Unfortunately, Sebarial used underhanded tactics to win every gambling game against Dblar and Dblar quickly racked up a very high gambling debt to Sebarial.
The party met Dblar when he invited them to participate in cremling races! Ravan made a deal with Sebarial to wipe out his debts in exchange for a favor. Dblar now serves as the party’s guide while in Thaylenah.
While the party was dealing with the fallout of the events in Klna, Ravan tasked Dblar with sailing the party’s ship up north near where at the temple where the perfect gemstone that Gavlin was tasked with obtaining is located.
Dblar ultimately was successful in sailing the ship to a beach near the Klna temple, but when he was close to the beach he spotted a hog and wanted to catch it as a pet. He jumped overboard, swam to the beach and was able to get his hog. The ship then crashed into another boat which turned out to the ship of some Thaylen theives and criminals. It turns out the Thaylen navy had been hunting this vessel for some time, and when Deblar single handily took them out they gave him a letter of marque and a special accelerator fabrial to install to the The Wind’s Favor.
Dblar then accidentally marooned the ship on the beach and was unable to get it back in the water. Its estimated that Dblar probably did around 1,000 marks worth of damage to the ship. When the party left for the Klna temple, Dblar and Taszo Son Clutio stayed behind to try and repair what they could.
