Ishren crashed a perfectly good gala rescue with the kind of reveal that ruins everyone’s night: the imprisoned people Kael had been so nobly trying to save were bait, a distraction dangled specifically to keep him away from his friends. Rude. Effective, but rude. He also claimed to answer to several different masters who rotate nightly, which is either a genuinely unsettling employment arrangement or the single best excuse for missing a shift ever devised. This wiki doesn’t know which and isn’t in a hurry to find out.
