The Yips Podcast is actually a business created by The Muffin Man. People purchase these pods to capture creatures known as the Yips, and them cast them like they’re fishing.
The plot twist, Yips aren’t real - and the reward the Muffin Man is offering for its capture isn’t real. He’s essentially running a scam and has made a lot of money doing it. So far it’s very popular in Kharbranth and from rumors around the city, it is spreading to nearby cities and towns.
