Borash is a Herdazian shardbearer and mercenary. His twin brother is Torash, who was killed by Kael. Borash was the son of a Herdazian general, and was raised in Alethkar where he learned to duel and became quite the menace in the dueling ring and dueling rankings in Alethkar. At some point in his life, he left Alethkar and created a mercenary squad where he was hired by the city lord of Klna to assist him in the uprising that occurred there.

Borash told Kael that he is fiercely protective of his brother, and has done much to help his brother feel normal in the world they grew up in. Torash grew up with a lisp, so Borash spoke with that same lisp to help Torash feel normal. Once Borash found out that Torash was killed, he dropped the lisp and will no longer speak with that same lisp.

Borash is a gay man, and has a crush on Nucko the Button Thief.

Borash’s whole life philosophy is focused on being an alpha and proving that he is the greatest, strongest man of all time.

Once the party caught up to his band of mercenaries in Klna; Kael, Torin, and Gavlin all fought him at once. Gavlin eventually left the skirmish to help other members of the party, but Borash was able to knock Kael unconscious before retreating.

Before retreating, he spit on Kael and told him that he was only leaving because his army was worthless, but that if he ever saw Kael again that he would make sure that Kael would be destroyed.

After leaving the docks Borash did recover the body and shards of his brother, Torash and retreated to an unknown location.
